Table Talk The Kensington

In last month's column I shared my love of London. While I revel in trying out the new restaurants, when it comes to staying over, or basing myself somewhere to work , like most of us, I tend to stick to my favourites.

I decided to broaden my horizons when invited to dinner at The Kensington - by the new GM Simon Maguire, the talented ex GM of Hotel Du Vin in Brighton. Simon has always impressed me because he shares my values and passion for creating excellence in the customer experience. And he’s a thoroughly nice bloke. I have absolute faith in his endeavours and so was keen to see what he’s up to at his new venue.
